and followed the instructions for downloading a podcast, but I was
only able to download 0702cultslow, a 3 min and 57 second sound file.
I tried several times and got the same result. Has anyone else had this
problem?
I am really excited about downloading podcasts. Can't wait till it works
for me. I've been hoping to see this option for a long time. The reason I got
an iPod was to listen to French audio files, and this is going to adding files from
LaGuinguette so easy!
I am surprised to hear about this. I tried it on Sunday last and it worked well, first time, although I have never used a podcast before. As well as doing it in iTunes, I did it with Internet Explorer too (for the rss feed) and that was also fine.
The podcasts have been tested and should work... if you are still having difficulties please don't hesitate to write via the contact form, giving details of your computer set up, so we can look into it...
I kept trying and after a few failed attempts, it worked with no problem. I didn't do anything different though. Now I am a very happy camper looking forward to downloading the next issue.
I'm having trouble using the RSS feed. When I try to log on I get a message, Windows cannot display this feed. I'm using Windows Vista. What's the problem. Also, on my old non-Vista PC, I was only able to download the slow speed podcast.
The podcast feed is really designed for transferring the sound to portable players such as ipods and other mp3 players. It is password protected as this is a membership based service, so won't function in browsers. However if you download free software such as itunes and the feed to that, you'll get all the articles and the pdfs downloaded directly to your computer quite easily.
